Coffee Stop

This is in the Centenary Hall on Tuesdays from 10am to noon, to support the Parish’s nominated charities. Traidcraft goods, books, bric a brac etc are on sale.

Church Choir (St Wilfrid's Church)

Meets on Fridays at 7.15pm and leads the singing at Sunday Eucharist and monthly Evensong.

Occasional study groups explore the Christian faith.

Men's Group (Varied Programme)

Usually meets in St Wilfrid's at 8.00pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month except in January and August. It has a varied informal programme. Here is the programme of meetings and activities for 2018:

Mothers' Union Parish Branch

Centenary Hall : meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at 1.45pm in the Centenary Hall. The programme of meetings for 2017, as announced, is in our Parish Diary

Presentation Wives

Meet at 2.30pm on the 1st Monday of the month at the
Presentation Hall with events from bingo and quizes to talks and bellringing.

Women's Fellowship (Varied Programme)

In the Centenary Hall on the 1st Thursday of the month at 2.30pm.

Afternoon House Group

Meets usually on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2pm (in Lent, every Wednesday at 2.30pm) and follows courses on the Bible, Prayer or Christian Living.

Evening House Group

This lively group meets about five times a year for fellowship and discussion, usually in somebody's house.

St Wilfrid's Organ

St Wilfrid’s Church Choir sing in the west balcony (1997), where this organ was built by Kenneth Tickell in 1998. Recitals have been given by Dame Gillian Weir and Wayne Marshall, who plays here again on 21 June 2018.
